The new V3 controller (link above) has the following changes:
- Vertical (as opposed to a horizontal) CAT5 Ethernet Jack
- Resistor packs on SPI outputs (allows for customization to certain types of cables - not typically used)
Video Overview (Shows V1)
Setting up the AlphaPix 4/16 in LOR S3
Hooking up the AlphaPix 16
Configuring Network Setup for the AlphaPix 16
All AlphaPix configuration, setup and troubleshooting information and videos can be found on our AlphaPix Support Page in the Knowledge Base.Q: Can I use the AlphaPix controllers with my LOR S3/S4 software and/or with my existing LOR Legacy Controllers?A: Yes, all our controllers, including the AlphaPix line work perfectly fine with LOR S3/S4 Advanced software. For more details and a complete list of the options of mixing E1.31 controllers and LOR can be found in our Knowledge Base. Q: Do the AlphaPix controllers require a "dongle" to work with LOR Software?A: No, the AlphaPix controllers connect directly to your PC or to your local network. See our Knowledge Base article for additional details and diagrams.
