IT was nice that the controller was complete and all set to go. It would be nice if there were printed instructions for setting it up. Trying to watch outdated videos were a little hard, because I didn't have the same menus, and then when I tried entering the IP address like some videos instructed, I still couldn't connect. After reaching out to HolidayCoro, they explained better what to do and I was able to connect using the IP address that was preprogrammed on the controller. Not too fond of the mounting for it though. Need to punch through some slots on the back (According to a video I watched) which could allow water to get in. The video explained this isn't a watertight enclosure to begin with. Not sure why there is another big wire clamp on the bottom. I thought someone said you could use that on a pole.

I really should have bought into this system when it first came out. I looked at controllers from other vendors, but product availability seems to be an issue if you're not buying at just the right time. I've never had a problem getting pixels or controllers from HolidayCoro, no matter what month it is. That peace of mind is worth a lot to me.
So far, this Flex Pixel Controller System has been a breeze to work with and configure. I use xLights to run my show, and it took about 10 minutes to remove the old controller and add/configure this one. I'm expanding my show by ~3000 pixels for the 2024 season, and I'm stoked to see how far I can build out this system. I bought this with the HinksPix v3 controller, two 16-port SPI controllers, one 4-port Long Range Differential Expansion Board, and two 350-watt power supplies. Consider me 110% satisfied with the Flex Pixel Controller/HinksPix v3 setup!
