Troubleshooting: xLights Confirmation Capture
Last Updated: 07/11/2020
You have been directed to this page due to a reported configuration issue with xLights software. This page provides information on how to properly capture the information that our HolidayCoro technical support staff needs to resolve the issue with your xLights configuration.

  • How to make Screen shots
    • Windows 7 & 10
      • We recommend using the built-in windows tool called "Snipping Tool". With this tool you can easily capture screen shots of just the part of your screen that is being requested.
    • Mac
      • The Mac has a built in screen shot function.
  • Multiple screen shots
    • If the items on your screen require scrolling to show all the requested information, please take multiple screen shots
Due to the rapid changes in xLights, your screens may look slightly different.

Include screen shots as requested by technical support:
  • CONTROLLERS
    • If you have multiple controllers and those controllers are part of the troubleshooting, include a separate screen shot for each controller (right side of screen)
  • LAYOUT
    • If you are having issues with multiple models, include screen shots for each model
