I've used these for many projects indoors, typically with a raspberry pi zerow and a smaller power supply. I've also used them outdoors, but converted to 12V outdoors. Still love these for smaller stuff where power injection isn't super-critical.

They come with pigtails already on them, easy plug and play.  I have not had any issues with pixels from HolidayCoro!!  They are my go to vendor!
