Works well for a small matrix's, I have several of the AlphaPix. I have been using them for years and have never had any trouble. Simple set up with LOR. Several Video's on YouTube to explain the set up. I will continue to buy them and use them as my show grows.

1 of 5 Works great but.... poor assembly December 22, 2022
Reviewer: Bruce Colburn from GA
The main door to the box has no gasket to prevent water intrusion. The four output pigtails from the AlphaPix4 ran directly out the bottom of the box via a steel clamp that is not sealed with a glands pass-through and no network pass-through. Cords/pigtails are routed through a non-water proof set of steel clamps that can risk wearing on the cords if not properly checked and are not grounded. The power cord does use a glands. The bottom of the box is cut out and a replacement plastic is installed with only 3 screws on one edge and silicon sealed. These controllers should be expected to endure cold/wet conditions and keep out debris (and in some areas potential for bugs/insects). The enclosure provides no such protection and should not be used outside, water can get in! Just order the board and do the rest of the assembly yourself or risk blown breakers, burnt equipment, or get shocked.  HolidayCoro needs to fix this so no one gets inadvertently zapped.
---- HOLIDAYCORO RESPONSE ---
Here is an article on why we do not have gaskets in controller boxes:  https://www.holidaycoro.com/kb_results.asp?ID=212  - We do not attempt to "seal" boxes, this can actually cause more problems with trapped humidity when the temp falls below dewpoint and condensation forms on the inside of the enclosure.  Our controllers are like nearly all electrical boxes for high voltages on houses - they are never sealed 100% this is because our boxes are not placed underwater.  The enclosure, when mounted properly in a vertical position, will not allow any water into the enclosure.  We have had this design for 10 years and never had water intrusion or any safety issues with customers.  The clamps are holding low voltage connections and are not intended to be a grounding surface, they are simply there to ensure the cables do not pull out.  The power supply is fully grounded.  The removable base is designed for quick assembly and has been part of our system for 5 years (the HC-2500), there have never been any reported problems with this design.

5 of 5 Great product and service December 3, 2022
Reviewer: Christopher Klein from PITTSBURGH, PA United States
Purchased an Alphapix 4 ready to run with 4 strands of various pixels for about 450 in total.  Everything shipped the same day and arrived 3 days later.  Instructions on the site made it easy to setup, the elf help and support were responsive immediately and helped me with some follow up questions.  I have everything up and running using XLights and FPP player.  Also using the DMX port for moving head lights and it works perfectly.  Very happy with my purchase and support.
